Cleaning Headsets to Avoid the Spread of Illness

Does your restaurant use headsets? Here’s what you can do to protect your employees.

In the current health climate, it’s essential to practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of sickness amongst employees.

It is always good practice to clean your headsets at the end of each shift. Now, more than ever, it’s important to ensure that this is done by each employee who comes in contact with a headset.

If your team uses headsets, here’s what you can do to keep them clean:

1. Always remove the battery and foam ear pads before cleaning
2. Clean headsets regularly using a soft cloth, non-abrasive wipe or other cleaner
3. Don’t soak the headset or bend the microphone boom as it could damage the electronics
