Dear Team
Whilst Victoria and the USA are experiencing further cases of COVID-19, other states and regions of Australia are improving. It’s an uncertain and slippery slope at the moment, and we’d like to remind all Summit staff to be vigilant in hand washing, sanitising and practising good hygiene in both the workplace and at home.
At this stage we are unsure as to how long this crisis will last, but we want to assure you that we are doing our best to navigate it successfully. We all need to stay fit, strong and healthy whilst solving our customers problems/needs, ensuring that we give them the very best service possible to retain their business and stay protected, whilst we wait for the ‘bounce back’.
Winter school holidays will be very different this year with overseas travel out of the question, and intra-state travel and road trips being the new “normal”. And while our clients always expect an influx of business over this period, it will most likely be busier than usual and Summit will need to be at the ready to provide top-level support throughout the period.
Stocktake is done, which is another annual milestone, and we have entered a new financial year.
Repairs are still coming in and timing for new installations is now being discussed with various QSR’s. Some great news is that we now feel confident to recruit an additional Field Service Technician for Vic/Tas. The advertisement has been uploaded to Seek (https://bit.ly/2CPg4Se). If you know an awesome Installation and Service Technician whom you feel would be an asset to our team (and has the skills required), then please have a chat with Emerson (or Evelyn) about the best way to approach them so that they can apply for our role through Seek.
Once again, I am grateful to our awesome Summit team who are coping so well under unique circumstances. You continue to rise up to the challenges, and I thank you all for your continued positivity.
