Summit Innovations is the world leader in “Drive-Thru” timing systems and technology for QSR’s (Quick Serve Restaurants). This is a great opportunity for a Workshop Electronics Technician to join our team in headquarters at Braeside, 26kms South-East of Melbourne.

Areas of Responsibility:

Workshop based electronic repairs to PC board level
Computer based imaging, configuration and testing of Drive-Thru Timing Systems
Re-furbishing and testing of various products
Controlling spare parts inventory for workshop requirements
Fault reports and customer product repair quotes
Organising shipments of repaired equipment back to customers
Backup/warehouse support, when required
Inventory/Stocktake counts

Skills and experience:

Trade Qualification in Electronics
Electronics industry work experience using multimeter, oscilloscope
Proven Fine soldering iron skills for PCB repairs
Proficient with PC and Networking principles
Sound analytical skills in fault-finding and problem solving, including the ability to interpret schematic wiring diagrams
Year 12 VCE or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge of and adhere to OH&S policies and procedures
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Available for overtime (if required)
Always be presentable clean and neat (uniforms supplied)
Courteous and professional manner essential
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
Excellent (English) written and verbal communication skills to liaise with team members and customers
